LET´S BREAK STEREOTYPICAL THINKING

Last friday 12 February 2021 took place the second international online meeting with participation of three national coordinators and other teachers involved in our project. Summary is the following:

 

MANAGEMENT MEETING – VIDEO-CONFERENCE 12.02.2021.

Place: Zoom Platform

Logo – all the partners put their logo-projects to our TwinSpace. After that we will vote on the best project and share it as our official project logo. Italy – please make it as soon as possible.

 

​We were discussing about our future project activities. As the situation with mobilities is still very hard we decided to Focus on our local, school activities connected with our main project topic.

​

So, each of the partner is requested to write in points what are you planning to do with your pupils in this part of a school year and what will be our result to share on TwinSpace. Please, send this lists to me till the end of February so  I could make then one common list of all our planned activities (also things you are doing during your regular lessons!)

​

Our, polish activities planned for the second term are:

Mass media manipulation workshops for students – we will present the main manipulation tools used by media, discuss about the examples found by our students in Internet, newspapers, TV, etc. We will also try to find the ways how to protect ourselves against manipulation. The event is planned for 24th February.

​

Students will prepare the reviews of a book or movie presenting the topic of tolerance or discrimination. The reviews will be written in English and then we will share it with our partners on TwinSpace.

​

Students will prepare some poster connected with our project topics showing the main ideas.

​

We agreed to intensify our TwinSpace activities. So please, remember to put all the things you are doing at your schools on the platform.

​

We decided the next Staff meeting will be after Easter.

​

May 5th, 2021. Virtual Staff meeting

​

Last 5 of May 2021 took place the third virtual staff meeting with participation of three national coordinators and other teachers involved in our project. Summary is the Spanish suggestions are the following:

 

New selection of students in Spain: we have to do a new selection because former students are no longer suitable for mobilities (virtual or real), former students will be in last school year of Post Compulsory Secondary Education and they will be focused in getting good marks and preparing well exams for access to University. New students won’t have problems for virtual or real mobilities. Our plan is to do this new selection following the start of new school year (middle of September).

 

Suggestion for Polish virtual mobility: Our suggestion is to delay up to the end of September or beginning of October, because this way we will have new students for virtual or real mobilities.

 

Possible real mobility in Spain in October 2021: our European team (ten teachers) think this idea is perhaps no realistic cause there will be yet several doubts about safety of travelling about and also families doubts about receiving and sending their sons. We suggest a more realistic scenario would be to implement three real mobilities in 2022 (February, March and April or February, April and June.

Students meeting: we suggest this first virtual meeting would be included in Polish Virtual Meeting. Contents could be: introducing themselves and explaining some things about their school and city.
